Camden did his eagle project today. He’s been planning this for a long time and it was quite an accomplishment. We built stairs and water diversion bars at Jordan Lake for the Audubon Society’s eagle observation deck. We were told this is the best place for seeing eagles in the east. This was my first project as scoutmaster and I learned today from more experienced scouters that our scope was about double the typical project. Good to know for next time. We had a blast and were grateful for all the help we received. Camden did a great job. He’s on track to earn his eagle in a few weeks.
