I had the tremendous honor this weekend of participating in the baptism of our dear friend, Cerdi. Such a very special time for our families 🙂

The scouts had a super fun campout at the Winsor place this weekend. Lots of fire and sharp things. Fun!

Had a blast seeing UNC vs NCState with Camden

Camden and I went on a fun “winter” campout a couple weeks ago with the scouts. Coming from New England, it was entertaining once again to see what kind of anxiety a bit of freezing rain causes in NC. Really though, I have grown soft over the past ten years. I was colder than I expected this night.

Sierra and I went on an awesome, quick road trip last week to see Amicalola Falls and the beginning of the Appalachian trail at Springer Mountain near Atlanta. I was shocked to see a handful of thru-hikers starting two days before Christmas! More photos and video here
